Broome County's four-field, state-of-the-art softball facility at 100 Cutler Pond Road in Binghamton, New York. Following a $4 million renovation, the four brand-new, all-turf fields, and brand-new lights are ready to welcome local teams, along with players and coaches from across the country.
The construction project was completed in 2023 to transform an existing four-field dirt complex into a modern softball facility. The upgraded facility now features four turf fields, eight batting cages/bullpens, permanent full-capability restrooms, dugouts, bleachers, lighting, signage, a picnic area, a 500-square-foot concession area, as well as dedicated onsite parking, and adjacent overflow parking.
The facility will host SUNY Broome’s softball team, as well as Binghamton, Seton Catholic, and Susquehanna Valley’s high school teams this year. Section IV Sectional and NYS Regional games will be played at the facility, and several tournaments, playdays, and camps are scheduled throughout the year. A full schedule can be found below.
Broome County teamed up with Greenlight Networks for the naming rights of the facility, Greenlight will be providing signage and promotional materials as well as fiber connectivity to the Park for at least the next five years.
In 2025 and through 2027, GNGSP will host the NYSPHSAA State Championships June 23-25.
